EXPERIENCE MACON A WAY FOUNDATION INC.

Macon Away Foundation Inc. is a registered 501 C(3) nonprofit organization that provides resources  to our neighbors in need living in the metro Atlanta area, and its surrounding cities. Currently  our operating program  provides immediate emergency resources that include
distributing FREE clothing, hygiene products, food and life skill resources  through mobile services.

 

Macon A Way is dedicated to  seeking out honest individuals, who are in need of assistance and truly wish to gain and remain  self-sufficient. However, due to their lack of resources or credentials they are often turned away from many agencies that offer aid.  Without proper documentation or a home address, they are unable to obtain employment, enroll their children in public school, or even stay in some shelters!

 

Macon A Way Foundation Inc. takes a creative and unique approach to the rising problem of homelessness, within the metro Atlanta area by actively going into the communal areas where our clients reside. Building  relationships and connecting with our clients allows us to determine the best method of assistance and enables us to cater to each individuals specific need.  Our targeted group of neighbors in need consist of  Homeless/low-income, Veterans, Disabled individuals with special needs and victims of Domestic violence.

Macon A Way Foundation operates as a bridgeway to local resources for those who lack access. We provide a Hand Up to our neighbors in need,  by collaborating with other  businesses and charities.  We are powered by programs and services that focus on  correcting the core issues that led to our clients  current situation(s).  Our goal is to assist our clients to establish or regain an identity that will result in permanent self sufficiency  and financial freedom!

 With the support of our communities, the generosity of our donors, sponsors and with our successful fundraising, we plan to build a rehabilitation day center.  The day center will provide a positive and safe environment for our clients to come and be productive during the day, instead of sleeping  in underpasses and on park benches. The center will provide a positive impact on their lives by providing them a place to receive the services they may  need to become and remain self sufficient again.
